Simulation spreadsheet
2nd year exercise

This spreadsheet was made to try to balance my Global Game Jam 2025 game "BUBBLES BLISS", right after the end of of the GGJ, to release it on itch.io. I wanted it to be a minimum balanced, because it was impossible to reach a certain round because of the exponential growth of the points requirement being too big.

Because I was in a rush, the spreadsheet is pretty messy compared to the other spreadsheet you can find by clicking here.
I iterated changes and applied them to the game, before testing them. When an iteration seemed to fit, I asked a few people to test it, until I arrived at an iteration where a skilled player would reach the high rounds, while less skilled players would struggle to reach the required number of points, which satisfied me.
Some values are meant to become extremely expensive at some point (like "BPS", BubblesPerSpawn, which represent how many bubbles will spawn everytime you press space).
